Target Audience

• A school or district wishing to create a new or stronger video productions program.
• Individual teachers hoping to incorporate video and media literacy into their existing lessons and curricula.

Workshop Steps

• Each person attending the session will receive a copy of Video Direct, both the teacher's handbook and the copy-friendly student workbook
• Personal hands-on use of Video Direct, including demonstration of lessons in analysis of camerawork, editing, advertising and news
• Evaluation of the existing curricula of the school or district and work with the teachers on incorporating Video Direct into their exising lessons OR creating new lessons
• A year of online or phone support.

Costs

• Workshop $1,000 per day honorarium OR $600 half-day (plus travel and lodging costs)
• Price includes 4 copies of Video Direct (teacher handbook & student workbook) -- additional copies available at discounted rate.
